M Kaleem Arshad MD is a Psychiatry specialistin Gretna, Louisiana. He attended and graduated from medical school in 1980,having over 38 years of diverse experience, especially in Psychiatry. He is affiliated with many hospitals including West Jefferson Medical Center. Kaleem Arshad MD was recognized for excellence in training and professional growth in psychiatry. He moved, along with his wife Dr. Jameela Arshad and three-year-old son to New Orleans where he finished one-year training in Internal Medicine at Tulane University Medical Center and School of Medicine. Following six months work at East Louisiana State Hospital as a staff psychiatrist and admission program director, Arshad M Kaleem MD began private practice in the New Orleans area. While engaged in private practice, He have held several leadership positions in various psychiatric hospitals and institutions over the last three decades. Kaleem Arshad MD served as Medical Director and Chief of Medical Staff at Methodist Psychiatric Pavillion, Psychiatric Pavillion of New Orleans,Seaside Behavioral Center and Oceans Behavioral Hospital of Greater New Orleans. Arshad M Kaleem MD aboard-certified psychiatrist and have been engaged in private practice in the field of psychiatry in the New Orleans area since 1990. He Diplomate of American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with certifications in specialties of adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and addiction psychiatry.

M Kaleem Arshad MD received his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in 1980 and came to the United States in early 1981. After working asa volunteer physician at Children Hospital National Medical Center, Washington DC in 1981 and 1982, He served as House Officer in Psychiatry at Provident Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland from 1983 to 1985. In 1985, He moved to El Paso,Texas to start my psychiatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed my three years training in 1988.
